While studying in Vancouver at Canaglobe TESOL Centre, out-of-town and international students have a variety of accommodation options to choose from.

Short term accommodation is available:
  • At hostels
  • At hotels
  • In furnished apartments

All hostels, hotels and furnished apartments are conveniently located in the downtown core and are within walking distance from the school.

HOMESTAY Option

All host families are carefully screened and matched with students' requests. Students can request families with or without children or can choose to live with a single person. All of our families are located within the Vancouver area, making it about a 20~30 minute transit ride to our center.

Why choose homestay?

Students will have the opportunity to acquire valuable knowledge about everyday aspects of life, leisure, and culture with their Canadian families. Living with a host family enables students to make practical use of their language skills. Students may choose to participate in family outings and see many places they might not have chosen to visit otherwise. Homestay families provide an important source of support and care to our students - a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to experience Canadian culture.

Our hosts will provide

  • private bedroom, shared washroom
  • breakfast, bag lunch, and dinner. Please note that breakfast and lunch are prepared
    by the student - dinner is cooked by the family
  • laundry facilities, telephone, T.V., internet use (in some cases)
